The basic format for youth groups includes a 30-45 minute presentation about fossils, with some large specimens for hands on discovery. We try to craft the presentation to a level appropriate for the age and background of the group.

After the presentation there is a lot to see, focused on two resources.

• Fossil exhibits and demonstrations by club members. Students can see what an amateur collector in Texas can find.
• We also have fossil dealers with specimens from around the world. These are for sale in every price range, from sharks teeth for 25 cents to beautiful museum quality specimens for hundreds of dollars. You can see some amazing material.

In order to ensure everyone can go home with a fossil, we have the "Wheel of Fossils". Only 25 cents, every spin wins a fossil!

And, if you or your group have something you would like identified, we can usually give it a pretty good shot.
